Christingle Aktion

A good friend of our English teacher, Mrs Julie Khler, originally from England, came to us and told us about the "Christingle", which is what English children traditionally get when they go to church on the third Sunday of Advent.
A Christingle is made of
- an orange (=the world)
- four cocktail sticks (=the four seasons)
- three sweets on each stick (=gifts we receive from God)
- a red ribbon around the orange (=the love and blood of Jesus)
- a candle on top of the orange (=the light Jesus brought into the world)
Scones are little round cakes with cream and strawberry jam on them. They tasted very good!
